Besides the talayots in the defense wall normally there was a bigger talayot on the highest point. This happens in Talatí with lots of additions.

Although this talayot may have had an inner chamber, tumbled down now, this has yet to be confirmed. What is certain is its function of control and watching.

The dates of talayots are situated between the years 900 and 800 BC although in Talatí the construction date has yet to be confirmed.
