Sanctuary with taula
The taula of Talatí is
singular due to the fact that the pilaster fell
against the capital of the taula after its break
from the base.
The precinct is a sacred place
where bonfires, animal sacrifices and ritual
banquets were celebrated to propitiate the fertility
of the soil and animals.
It was possibly built between the
6th and 4th centuries BC. It was used for ritual
purposes until the Roman period.
